As some know, I’m leaving Colorado, where I currently reside, in three days. Moving to Tennessee, where I am originally from, for a three-month writing hiatus, and then I will be transplanting myself to New York City in January. Where I will become a “Big Apple-ite”, as they call them. But before, I leave Colorado officially, I am having a party at my current and fleeting residence, tomorrow, Saturday, October 20th, that is the “Official Ballard C. Boyd Going-Away Boydstravaganza!” For those that are Boulder, CO or the surrounding areas, you are cordially invited, and here are directions and information, as my house is kind of hard to find.
Open house from 8-11 p.m. Door prizes at 10:30. Then we’re going out to Catacombs Bar, which is in walking distance until the night is thru. Godspeed, rockstars!

My house is back off the street (near “The Hill” neighborhood), so directions below will navigate you to a sign, which’ll point you the rest of the way to my door. Look for christmas lights and a pink flamingo.
Directions (by car from Pearl St.): Take Broadway heading South to University Ave. Turn west onto University Ave. Turn north on 10th St., which will immediately hit Grandview Ave. Park anywhere adjacent or close to that intersection (10th & Grandview). Walk east down Grandview, starting at the SE corner of 10th & Grandview. You will see a series of small cottages on your right (south side)numbered 1012 & 1020. There will be a sign there. Walk between them, toward the back and you will find me at the far right back cottage, door on the left side. Look for Christmas lights or call me.
Directions (by foot from Pearl St.): Walk South on Broadway, past Arapahoe, until you see Grandview Ave. on your right. It is 1 block before University Ave. Take a right on Grandview. Go past the first block, until you see 1020 & 1012 Grandview (a series of small cottages), on the South side of the street (your left). There will be a sign, as well. Hey Dude, sorry I missed your party. I’m glad Lydia and I were able to visit you out in Boulder at least once though. Are you gonna share pictures from the party?
