We’ve recorded seven songs at Radex Studios now, and spent the better part of the third day, which was on Friday, knocking out a take of a new song “Christmas With U”, that did not have lyrics just two days before, and polishing “Blue Christmas” and putting the finishing touches on tracks. I think we got it now, and just have to really mix everything down…and then try a take of this last eighth song I’m throwing on at the last minute. I ran across the Lord Nelson calypso song “A Party For Santa Claus”, and really, really want to try and do it, so today, before we might work a little this evening, I need to sing it over and over and over to try and get the words down. Then we should be good. Tomorrow should be mix day, and then we’ve got a record. Super-duper, folks. I’m really excited to put it up and see what everybody thinks.

Also Happy December. I just re-installed Christmas lights inside my car and put a wreath on the front, yesterday. I’m ready to Christmas-tize everyone’s driving experience around me now.

That’s fantastic. Looking forward to the album and I’m excited that the lights are back in action. I was trying to come up with a catchy southern-sounding name that would be better than the BCB-mobile and add Christmas in there somehow, but I’m short on time and got distracted thinking about how if you were from Alabama it’d be way funnier if it were just the Mobile-mobile. But now I’m headed out the door…
