My friend Shawn Phillips just wrote a new book on fitness called “Strength For Life” and I recommend it to anyone that’s ever thought about getting in shape, or have been interested, but didn’t know where to start, or maybe even is working out, but not seeming to get anywhere. Here’s the story - Shawn’s family has always been in fitness.

His brother Bill Phillips wrote the book “Body For Life”, the best-selling fitness book of all-time. The Phillipses pretty much created the meal-replacement shake over 10 years ago, which changed nutrition in sports. Shawn is the author of the New York Times Bestseller “ABSolution” (obviously, about abs) and he is the creator of the FullStrength nutrition shake (which I use daily) and has been written up as one of the most nutritious meal-replacements ever engineered, beating whole foods in some cases, to lose fat AND gain muscle, by a double-blind case study from the University of Oklahoma this year.

I’m recommending “Strength For Life”, Shawn’s new book that provides a really, clear system not just for training and eating, but in a way that you can do it for the rest of your life, without throwing out the foods that you love, and in a way that keeps you growing in strength throughout your life.

So, if you’re interested, even remotely, or don’t know where to start - start here. The book goes on sale in bookstores and on Amazon.com today, April 29th. But, if you wanna help even a little more, buy your book on Thursday, May 1st on Amazon.com to try and push the book up to the #1 slot on Amazon for that day. I’m buying one for my mom. This isn’t even a thing with Amazon, its just my friends trying to get the book up in the press that day by showing how good it is. So check it out. And if you can’t afford to buy the book, please get it from your library, because it’s the best place to start that I know for being healthy, or looking good, or being more of the person that you’ve always dreamed it were possible to be.
